HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
The company began its business in 1956 in Battaglia Terme with small turning and milling works on behalf of third parties with only two employees. In those tumultuous years of the economic miracle, the company began to take its first steps and through countless difficulties began a rapid and steady growth.
By the end of the 80s, the size of the company had reached a larger dimension that required a more spacious location. The company therefore moved to Albignasego in their own new warehouse, and at the same time generational change took place.
From that moment there was a remarkable turnaround with both qualitative and innovation growth resulting from the purchase of much more advanced machine tools for larger manufacturing operations.
THE TAKEOVER OF AN UNKNOWN MARKET
In the year 2000, the turning point came with the acquisition of OTTOGALLI, which was an historical name in the construction of thermoplastic injection machines, and was then able to expand its business in the footwear sector where OTTOGALLI was the leader.
OTTOGALLI machines, which can manufacture boots, soles, sandals and items of all kinds, were created in 1964 in the transition phase of footwear from rubber to plastic soles, aiming to maintain quality but at a lower price. It was an immediate success that grew to conquer the whole world with thousands of machines being put into production.
TODAY
For over 20 years now, INTEC has been carrying out with responsibility and involvement the construction of OTTOGALLI machines that are currently being exported all over the world.
Ottogalli injection molding machines are entirely built, assembled and tested by Intec in its own indoor facility of about 3000 square meters, relying on the support of a highly specialized and qualified staff.
Thanks to high quality standards, the production of modular and reliable machinery is guaranteed, built with the best materials on the market to ensure durability. The machines produced are based on an advanced plastic extrusion-injection system, which is also associated with innovative forms of recovery of recyclable materials.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Intec's corporate policies pay close attention to the development and use of new technologies, in order to offer an excellent product and service to the market, in accordance with the increasingly stringent industry requirements.
Since 2017, the Research and Development (R&D) department has been the beating heart of the company: from here, new solutions are created every day, which can also be tested on the finished product upon specific request, for a complete and high-quality service.
INTEC constantly invests in research, with the aim of evolving and diversifying its production structure, and to update the level of know-how and skills needed to maintain machinery always in step with the times. It also enhances human resources by investing in training and continuous updating of professional and internal resources. Intec is UNI EN 9001:2009 certified.
Participation in international exhibitions and fairs
Intec has been present for years with its Ottogalli brand at the most important Italian and international fairs in the footwear industry.
